Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize the flow of the restaurant
- Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Process guest payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring smooth transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, including providing menu information and addressing concerns promptly
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest service at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in restaurant operations, guest services, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential
