Job Description Summary
The Senior Director, National Sales is responsible for managing a team of Regional Sales Managers whose primary focus is driving new revenue growth as well as managing and developing our sales team for our revolutionary suite of software solutions including Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), Practice Management, Patient Collaboration (Klara), AI solutions, and more….
Your Role
- Manage the regional sales managers to achieve their booking goals, while carrying a team quota.
- Manage sales objectives through detailed and accurate forecasting, budgeting and planning activities.
- Lead a team by offering sales coaching and mentorship opportunities..
- Responsible for employee development through the delivery of one-on-one coaching, learning opportunities and performance reviews.
- Provide active coaching: provide real time feedback and tactical deal support
- Develop and expand relationships with private healthcare providers.
- Proactively identify and develop growth opportunities in each assigned territory.
- Support demand gen strategy in engaging market and converting leads
- Stay current with latest developments in the marketplace and provide industry expertise.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the products.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales.
- Frequent travel throughout the US to prospect sites and exhibit at society meetings and trade shows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 of years of experience in successfully leading a sales team in a SaaS company
- Experience with SaaS EMR products; relevant medical sales experience a plus.
- Previous experience working in a high growth technology industry a plus.
- Previous experience in senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to staff members at every level of the organization.
- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts.
