We’re hiring a Product Operations Lead to be the operational backbone and people leader for our Product team. You’ll coach Product Managers, bring structure and clarity to workflows, and ensure projects move smoothly from idea → build → release.
This role requires strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills. The right candidate is a hands-on leader who builds structure, develops people, and ensures cross-functional alignment so we ship high-quality releases on time.
Lead & Develop People
- Manage a small team of Product Managers, including 1:1s, goal setting, and career development.
- Coach team members on discovery, PRDs, stakeholder management, and release readiness.
- Foster a culture of ownership, focus, and high-quality execution.
Run Product Operations
- Own the product operating rhythm: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retros, and release checkpoints.
- Maintain the product source of truth — roadmaps, OKRs, calendars, trackers, and decision logs.
- Communicate clear project updates, priorities, and timelines to stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Managers to keep deliverables and dependencies on track.
Improve Processes
- Define and continuously improve workflows from intake → prioritization → delivery.
- Establish documentation standards (PRDs, acceptance criteria, test plans, release notes).
- Streamline handoffs between Product, Engineering, Design, Support, and Sales to reduce rework and escalation.
Measure & Report
- Track team KPIs such as on-time releases, scope changes, and support ticket trends.
- Publish simple dashboards and post-release summaries to improve visibility and accountability.
Required
- 2–3 years of experience in product operations, project/program management, or product coordination.
- Experience supervising or mentoring others.
- Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, and follow-through.
- Proven ability to prioritize and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Preferred
- Experience in a software or technology organization.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Productboard, or similar tools.
- Background in process improvement or change management.
- Clear product rituals and documentation standards in place.
- ≥90% of releases meet target dates with well-communicated scope changes.
- Smooth handoffs and fewer escalations across teams.
- Leadership and stakeholders have clear visibility into product progress.
