Job Title: Maintenance Tech. Job Description - (All Plants)
Reports to: Maintenance department supervisor at specific Business Unit
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday - Overtime as needed.
Wage: $28-$32/hr – Based on experience
2nd Shift receives $3.00/hr extra shift incentive to their regular hourly pay
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Must be a highly motivated individual who is self-directed and able to work with little supervision. Will perform preventive and predictive maintenance to the equipment as well as trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Proficiency in programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, DL06, etc.), and H.M.I. systems is preferred. Knowledge of robotic welders and stamping presses is a plus.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to equipment.
- Trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers preferred but not required.
- Troubleshoot Robotic Welders, Stamping Presses, Benders, Roll Former, CNC Lasers, CNC Brake Press, and general machinery.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Perform tasks as assigned.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
- Must have working knowledge of hand tools such as wrenches, saws, air tools, etc…
- Must have previous maintenance experience.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Physical environment/working conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
Salary : $28 - $32
