Job Title: Machine Operator
Reports to: Production Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Thursday (6:00AM to 4:30PM ) overtime as needed
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Operates welding machines
- Operates resistance welders
- Operates rollers
- Operates presses
- Operates high pressure testers
- Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
- Positions work piece against stops or guides
- Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces
- Uses air drills and wire brushes to clean final product
- Packages final product
- Performs housekeeping tasks keeping work areas clean
- Additional duties may be assigned or removed, as business needs dictate

Physical environment/working conditions:
Works in a manufacturing environment in warm or cold temperatures. The individual must be able to do the following:

- Stand for long periods of time throughout the shift
- Move at a fast pace across specified terrain throughout the shift
- Adjust body position while performing tasks
