Compliance Advertising Analyst

You will collaborate with various departments, recommending changes in business practices to ensure compliance with evolving laws and regulations. Your role will involve providing guidance to field representatives on their submissions and working with them to ensure our advertising and marketing practices meet the highest standards. Responsibilities:
- Review and disposition Field representative and Home Office advertising submissions and social media activity; interpret NAIC Model Regulations, state insurance regulations, and industry standards for best practices. Communicate advertising revisions and changes and work collaboratively with the Field and Home Office staff. Utilize appropriate software tools to accomplish this process.
- Maintain records of advertising reviews and approvals for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Research state and FINRA advertising filing requirements and preparing submission. Communicate with the state or FINRA on any objections received, and work with Home Office departments on responses to filing objections. Retain copies of filings for Modern Woodmen’s records.
- Provide input regarding compliance related topics to Field representatives attending the Home Office Career Schools/cohorts.
- May assist with creating training for Field and Home Office staff on advertising & social media.
- Manage and track Field and Home Office social media profile connections in monitoring tools.
- Maintain relevant policies and procedures for the department. Compile new policies and procedures when changes in the department are necessary. Recommend revisions and updates to existing policies and procedures as needed. Participate in regular systematic review of procedure documents.
- Attend compliance related conference at least every other year. Attend online advertising related industry committees and webinars.
- Analyze data and create periodic reports concerning Field representative-created advertising statistics/reviews and social media accounts. Create and maintain a variety of compliance-related periodic reports. Present analyses and summaries to Field management and Home Office staff.
What we need:
- Bachelor’s degree required and one to two years’ work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Aptitude for communicating effectively in writing and in conversation.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to complex issues.
- Strong research skills.
- Competence with various technical software programs.
- Detailed knowledge of Modern Woodmen life and annuity products, preferred.
- LOMA Level 1, FLMI, AIRC, FINRA Series SIE, 6 and 26 preferred or willingness to achieve overtime.

- Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $24.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid hourly position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Hybrid positions work at least three days in the office and the remaining days each week working from hom Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (five days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to one year.
