## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have 5 years verifiable welding experience. Must be willing to obtain NYS Teachers Permit and License. Monday through Thursday 7AM-4:30 PM plus one evening class per week from 5:30PM-9:30PM.
## Responsibilities
- Perform welding instruction using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Read, interpret & teach blueprints
- Teach basic visual welding inspection.
- Collaborate with the team to meet goals of students.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
## Qualifications
-High school Diploma or GED
- 5 Years Verifiable welding experience.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
-Proficient in Oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting & grinding.
- Ability to read, teach & interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding activities
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Certification in welding is a plus
