Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals with precision and care
- Perform surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and other necessary operations, adhering to best practices. Dentals are a PLUS.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes
- Educate pet owners on health maintenance, preventive care, nutrition, and behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients in compliance with veterinary standards
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and professional development
Requirements
- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from an accredited institution or equivalent qualification required.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction required.
- Proven experience in clinical veterinary practice, including surgery and diagnostics required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to handle animals compassionately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Knowledge of current veterinary practices, tools, and technologies
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
We are currently looking for a veterinarian to start with approximately 2–3 days per month. As our clinic continues to grow, this role is expected to expand into a consistent part-time position of 1–2 days per week. Additionally, as business needs increase, we may consider transitioning this role into a full-time position, so applicants interested in long-term growth are encouraged to keep this opportunity in mind.
