What are the responsibilities and job description for the VV&A CTM Analyst position at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.?
- Perform VV&A analysis on physics-based Core Truth Models (CTM) (models representing signatures, environment states and effects, and lethality) and generate reports on findings
- Develop data analysis code to assess HWIL/Digital Models against their requirements and determine their suitability for stated intended uses in MDS simulations
- Research technical papers on models and identify data pertinent to model VV&A; become the team's SME on the physical theory and mathematical equations that constitute the models
- Establish VV&A evidence by comparing modeled data to referent data for various MDS sensors, threats, or interceptors
- Serve as primary point of contact and product integrator for a team effort: prepare and present VV&A evidence plans, products, and reports, while also making contributions to the team's technical VV&A efforts
- Collaborate with counterparts from other stakeholder agencies, such as software developers and accreditation agents, to establish adequate V&V evidence and correct modeling issues
- BS/MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science discipline and 7 years of experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience coding in at least one programming language (Python preferred); must demonstrate ability to analyze existing code
- Understanding of radar principles/models is a plus
- Knowledge of hypersonic and/or cruise missile behavior/performance is a plus
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems is a plus
- Some knowledge of verification and validation (V&V) processes
- Must possess a Secret level security clearance (or higher)
