As a Project Control Specialist with MTSI you will provide high-quality project control for one or more of National Security Division (NSD's) contracts. You will assist the Project Manager(s) in maintaining solid financial execution of your assigned project(s) while enabling the PM to remain highly engaged with customer product and service delivery. Position can be in-office, hybrid, or remote based in the Huntsville, AL area. Role and Responsibilities* Work with project control team to provide financial metrics to the PMO and corporate functional areas. Perform program- and BU-level contract performance analysis. Track and manage program funding, costs, revenue, and profit at IDIQ and TO levels. Manage direct hours, materials, ODCs, and travel expenses for the prime and all teammates and vendors. Ensure all travel is planned, coordinated, approved, executed, and reported within the guidance and regulations set forth by program and the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), including approval of expense reports and subcontractor expense invoices. Ensure accuracy of invoices prior to submission. Coordinate, prepare, and submit contract deliverables in a timely manner. Provide inputs for division-level data analysis of financial performance. Act as liaison between PMO and corporate functional staff . Qualifications and Education Requirements* REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years directly-related professional experience Past work with multiple contract types (Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price) Tracking and managing ceiling and funding at all levels, as well as identifying risk Reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices for accuracy and ensuring information is booked into the system accordingly Calculating and providing funding amounts for subcontractor teammates, and working with Subcontracts Administrator to provide modifications Reviewing invoices for accuracy and coordinating corrections prior to submission for payment Tracking bill holds and accruals to closure across billing cycles Preparing and submitting contract deliverables General understanding of the FAR Revenue/profit forecasting and EAC modeling Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or similar tool Microsoft Excel experience – Intermediate or higher Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Math from an accredited college or university DESIRED: 8-14 years directly-related professional experience Past work with large subcontractor teams Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Business Intelligence Experience with Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in Deltek Working knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning Additional Notes Place of work is Huntsville, AL.
