Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and policies. Support and advise leadership to manage the cyber security team, providing guidance and support. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes. Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of the organization's cybersecurity strategy posture. 15 years Technical Experience 2 years' experience at an executive level in a technical discipline e.g. Chief Engineer, Technical Director Extensive executive level relationships with a wide variety of industry and government partners Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (desired). Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA desired. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices. Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption. Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and software development. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. High level of integrity and ethical conduct. M.S. Degree (required), PhD (desired), is Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM degree Place of work is onsite in Colorado Springs, You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
