MTSI is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to support the Uncrewed Launch and Control (ULC) Product Office, providing assistance to the Assistant Product Manager (APM) for Uncrewed Vehicle Control (UVC). - Provide technical support and leadership in Defense Acquisition System activities and System of Systems Integration.
- Coordinate UVC software efforts across various hardware platforms.
- Support technical efforts with government agencies, offices, and contractors.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance for ULC technical activities.
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and contractor oversight process.
- Prepare and present technical and programmatic briefings to management, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist in developing milestone and technical documentation for contract requirements packages and contracting/acquisition strategies.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to execute program goals efficiently.
- Provide input to develop acquisition strategies or plans tailored to each effort.
- US citizenship is required and an active secret level security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in product engineering or related areas.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes and System of Systems Integration.
- Familiarity with software development and testing in DoD environments.
- Strong technical writing and briefing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of system integration and software coordination across hardware platforms.
- Proficiency in monitoring technical cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
