Responsibilities
Provide flight test engineering expertise for USSOCOM fixed wing aircraft and weapon system development.
- Act as a Test Conductor for ground and flight test missions
- Lead and participate in flight test event planning, test execution, data
- Develop and review test objectives, plans, flight test cards, and other required
- Coordinate and provide requirements for test venues, test assets and participants
- Coordinate analysis activities with data analysts
- Apply technical expertise to assess test range, weapon system, or technology
readiness
- Prepare mission execution schedules, logistics coordination, and track status and
- Interface with other government and range organizations and development
- Assist in directing test operation efforts across test and operations communities to

- Facilitate the safety and aircraft modification coordination process
- Aid in operations and maintenance support planning with contract maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science
- 3 years in test and evaluation, aerospace duties, and/or related technical work
- Ability to obtain and maintain a FAA Class 3 flight physical
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience/knowledge of avionics/mission systems, munitions systems, and/or
- Working knowledge of Air Force T&E policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Active Secret Clearance, TS Eligible
- Prior aircrew experience as WSO, CSO, EWO, or Pilot, preferably on AFSOC
- Experience serving as a Flight Test Conductor and performing on-aircraft
- Experience working with or within the 96 Test Wing at Eglin AFB, FL
- Active Top-Secret clearance
- Test Pilot School Graduate
- Master of Science degree in engineering
- 5 years in test and evaluation, aerospace duties, and related technical work
- Experience preparing flight test documents, Test Plans, Methods of Test, and Flight
- Experience in flight operations, test operations, SOF, Air Dominance, Strike, or ISR
- Instrumentation, data management, and data analysis experience
- Experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
