Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and metal stud framing as needed.
- Support fixture installation, door hanging, cabinet setup, and flooring or tile laying tasks.
- Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation.
- Operate CNC machines for fabrication or assembly tasks when required.
- Maintain safety standards by handling heavy lifting properly and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or schematic interpretation is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work or manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Restoration industry experience including water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and schematics accurately.
- Previous roles involving remodeling, fixture installation, siding application or drywall finishing will stand out.
