What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mentor position at Modern Psychiatry and Wellness LLC?
SUMMARY: People in this role support others in recovery from a substance use disorder in a housing setting. Mentors serve to support and encourage persons receiving SUD treatment while completing their recovery program. Mentors are responsible for overseeing the activity of residents in the Genesis Life and Recovery program. This is accomplished through one-on-one and group meetings. Mentors will serve as a knowledgeable guide for newly recovering men and women. A mentor is an enthusiastic, energetic, and thoughtful facilitator who provides access to people and resources and ultimately becomes a role model and advocate for all persons served. This role is third shift.
