We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Utility Forklift Operator to join our Production team. If you enjoy staying busy, operating forklifts, supporting manufacturing operations, and working as part of a team, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Utility Forklift Operator, you'll play a critical role in keeping production moving by ensuring materials are delivered where they're needed, bake ovens continue operating without interruption, and customer product remains properly identified throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts throughout the facility.
- Supply production lines with parts and production materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Load and unload batch bake ovens.
- Exchange tubs at the continuous bake oven to maintain production flow.
- Weigh incoming tubs and accurately complete required production paperwork.
- Scan production orders and maintain production documentation.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous forklift experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates).
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
