Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Supervise food handling, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with health regulations to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
- Manage Toast POS system for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours and overseeing customer service excellence.
- Implement management strategies for food production, catering services, bar operations, and banquet events when applicable.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to meet business objectives.
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with a strong background in restaurant management.
- Extensive knowledge of food industry standards including food safety protocols, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development, team management, and performance coaching.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is required.
- Experience in fine dining or hotel hospitality management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
