To support the needs of our community, Modern Pest is currently seeking an Billing and Collection Specialist to join our team based out of our Executive Office, located in Brunswick, ME!
Essential job functions and duties, including but not limited to:
- Assigned tasks in team workbooks
- Answer incoming phone calls using proper etiquette and professionalism to address client questions or concerns, or to transfer calls to the appropriate team member.
- Must show consistent adherence to KPI and metric requirements.
- Make outbound calls in relation to overdue account balances.
- Be knowledgeable of Modern’s programs, warranty periods, covered pests, etc.
- Work towards team and individual goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Billing & Collection Manager

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including 7-year background and Motor Vehicle Report screening, as well as a 4-panel drug screen (opioids, cocaine, PCP, and amphetamines)
- Requires ability to work onsite in Brunswick, ME throughout the duration of the training period to foster collaboration and allow the Billing & Collection Manager to gauge progress within the learning environment.
- Hybrid or remote schedules may be offered at the Manager’s discretion following the training period; this blend of remote and in-office work is designed to optimize flexibility and productivity, and may be amended at any time.
