What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARKING ATTENDANT (Full-Time) position at MODERN PARKING INC?
The Parking Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while overseeing the safety and security of the parking facility.
Responsibilities:
- Park and retrieve customers' vehicles in a safe and timely manner (only some positions require driving)
- Provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Welcome and acknowledge all customers according to company standards; anticipate and address customers’ needs and thank customers with a genuine appreciation.
- Control traffic to ensure a smooth flow at all times, while ensuring pedestrians are safe
- Verify the necessary supplies at the start of each shift
- Maintain a neat and orderly booth at all times that is free of debris and trash
- Complete the necessary end-of-shift documentation
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and, cleanliness of parking areas
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Must work with or without supervision
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid California Class C Driver License
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Cash Handling experience preferred
- Take an Integrity Survey
- Willing to take a Pre-Employment Test (Medical/Drug Screen)
- Willingness to undergo a Background Check.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
Salary : $19 - $20
