Modern Myst is a salon located in Winchester, KY. Our experienced stylists are dedicated to providing clients with a relaxing atmosphere and exceptional service! We aim to create a compelling experience that sets us apart from other salons in the area.

We not only put a heavy focus on the client experience, but the stylist experience as well. We know all to well how challenging it is to find a salon home where you feel welcomed, like a part of the team, and comfortable to be yourself! We pride ourselves on being drama free and inclusive!

We currently have one booth rent position available for a stylist and one for an esthetician.

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful hairstyles and providing exceptional customer service.

*Duties*

- Perform hair consultations to determine clients' needs and preferences

- Provide hair services such as cutting, coloring, and styling

- Stay updated on current hair trends and styling techniques

- Recommend hair care products to clients

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization standards in the salon

- Build and maintain a loyal clientele through excellent service

*Qualifications*

- Must be a licensed cosmetologist

- Proficient in a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients

- Knowledge of retail math for product sales

- Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and straight razor techniques is a plus

- Ability to mentor junior stylists

- Familiarity with front desk duties, store management, and retail sales is advantageous

- Understanding of proper sanitization practices in a salon setting
