Job Summary
As a Digital Removables Specialist, you’ll combine dental knowledge, digital design, and hands-on fabrication to support removable dental prosthetics. You’ll help create and refine dentures, removables and other restorations, using digital tools and laboratory techniques to support accurate, functional outcomes. Your impact: Careful design and finishing help patients and dental teams achieve comfortable, well-fitting restorations.
Duties
- Review case details, medical records, and imaging; apply anatomy knowledge and dental terminology to guide design and fabrication.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD), three-dimensional (3D) modeling, and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to create custom prosthetics, including complete dentures and partial restorations.
- Fabricate, finish, and inspect dental prostheses; apply removable prosthodontics, ceramics, implantology, and laboratory techniques as appropriate.
- Operate and maintain dental equipment and precision tools, follow aseptic technique and infection-control procedures.
- Document work, protect privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and coordinate with dental teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of dental fabrication, dental prosthesis finishing, prosthodontics, implant prosthodontics, and complete denture fabrication.
- Familiarity with dental anatomy, medical imaging, medical terminology, and medical documentation.
- Experience with CAD, completion of dental prosthetics, CAM software, and laboratory work.
- Understanding of dental equipment and infection control.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
