BANQUET SERVERS (On-Call)

SUMMARY
Banquet servers provide exceptional customer service throughout the event to ensure the highest customer satisfaction. Servers are responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Help set up table decorations. Servers must also ensure that each table has the correct number of napkins, utensils, and glasses.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guest’s needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with guests throughout their meal to ensure everything is satisfactory.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
- Clean tables after guests leave the event.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow verbal directions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Must have a high school diploma and/or general education degree (GED).
- Customer service experience is preferred by not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- NO HEAVY LIFTING IS REQUIRED.
