Site Manager- Janitorial

As a Site Manager for Janitorial services, you will oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations within commercial facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Your core responsibilities will include managing custodial staff, coordinating floor care, and implementing effective cleaning protocols. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00AM - 7:30PM, Must be flexible may need to come early or stay later.

Pay is $20-$23/hr.

The responsibilities of a Site Manager include:

• Coordinate janitorial service activities for assigned building. Ensure that services are performed as contracted.
• Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.
• Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
• Schedule and assign cleaning tasks, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
• Train and onboard new janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues.
• Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
• Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, especially in high-demand situations.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a janitorial service/customer-oriented environment
• Proven experience in janitorial and custodial services
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards
• Experience in facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning
• Ability to perform residential painting and maintenance tasks
• Must be able to effectively communicate and respond to questions from managers and customers.
