What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Porter/Janitor position at Modern Maintenance, Inc.?
This job offer is for two different positions. We are looking for someone who can take both jobs. Only apply if you are interested in both locations!
Location 1/Job Details:
Multi-tenant class A office building. Some tenants are high-profile and require privacy. Located in downtown Atlanta, near Peachtree Street and 17th street. Parking available onsite. You will be required to clock in using our time tracking app. Pay is $14/hour
Hours:
- 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Time off for six major holidays: New Year's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas, including restrooms, and common areas
- Ensure that all areas are free of debris and properly sanitized
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
Note: This position may also be referred to as a Day Porter or Custodial position.
Location 2/Job Details
Multi-tenant office building. Two office floors and lobby entrance. Located in downtown Atlanta off of Mitchell Street. 14 minutes away from other location. $33 per day.
Hours:
- 5 am latest start time. Takes approximately 2-2.5 hours and leaves 30 minutes to 1 hour to get to other location.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all designated areas. Including restrooms, break rooms, offices, etc..
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Pay: $145.00 per day
