Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For
As a Press Operator you will be responsible for operating a press with precision and expertise. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you maintain the quality of printed images and ensure accurate registration throughout the printing process. In addition to your technical duties, you will play a crucial role in keeping the work area clean and organized, reflecting our commitment to excellence and a safe working environment.
From Set up to Finish: Your Role in the Process
- Review job tickets to understand project specifications, including paper type, ink requirements, and registration marks
- Load the appropriate paper stock, select the correct paper weight, and mix ink if necessary to meet color standards
- Operate the offset printing press with mechanical skill and attention to detail Monitor image quality and color consistency throughout the run; make real-time adjustments to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Keep the press area clean, organized, and operating safely - upholding Modern Litho's commitment to excellence
The Fine Print: What you need to Succeed
- Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work while maximizing press performance
- Ability to accurately read and interpret job tickets to meet exact project specifications
- Strong attendance record and consistent follow-through are non-negotiable
- Confidently able to perform simple math like figuring out weights, sizes, and percentages
- Basic Computer Skills: You'll need to use a computer to do parts of the job
- Maintain high levels of mental and visual attention to deliver accurate and timely output.
Your Production Schedule:
- Day Shift- 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM 12hr rotating schedule: Monday - Wednesday; Thursday - Saturday
- Overtime available
