Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For
As a Modern Litho Custodian, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our employees and visitors. This position is responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of our Headquarters facility, including offices, production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working independently to ensure our facility stays in top condition.
From Set up to Finish: Your Role in the Process
- Perform general custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of trash in compactors and/or dumpsters
- Safely use and maintain custodial equipment, cleaning products, and supplies
- Perform cleaning tasks based on seasonal needs, special projects, and facility requirements
- Clean and maintain breakroom refrigerators, freezers, microwaves, and common areas
- Clean Pressroom sinks, refrigerators, and microwaves
- Check outside walkways for litter and empty cigarette receptacles weekly
- Weed exterior flower beds and water plants as needed
- Detail company vehicles as needed
- Provide vendors with access to designated areas as needed and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist with company special events, employee luncheons, and other activities as needed
- Follow established workplace safety and environmental practices
- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Previous experience stripping and waxing floors is a plus
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and dependable work habits
- Ability to understand and follow established safety procedures
- Ability to safely operate vacuums and other custodial equipment
- Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies
- Ability to work independently and manage routine responsibilities
- Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to perform pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, stooping, standing, and other physical activities throughout the entirety of the shift
Your Production Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift
- Full-time, Day Shift
