About Us
Modern Home Inspections is a Connecticut home inspection company known for thorough, clear, and timely inspections. Our clients and the real estate agents we work with count on us to explain what we find in plain language and deliver reports quickly. We're growing, and we want another inspector on the team.

The Role
You'll perform residential home inspections across Connecticut, document your findings with photos and notes, and deliver clear, professional reports. You'll be the face of MHI at each inspection, working directly with buyers, sellers, and agents. Our office team handles scheduling and admin, so you can focus on the inspections.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough visual inspections of residential properties, including structure, roof, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior
• Write accurate, easy-to-read reports and deliver them on time
• Explain findings to clients in plain language
• Build strong relationships with real estate agents and represent MHI professionally
• Offer add-on services such as radon, mold, water testing, sewer scope, and WDI where they fit the client

What We're Looking For

• No experience necessary. We'll train you.
• Already have a CT home inspector license? You'll receive a $2,000 signing bonus.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Comfort with mobile devices and photo documentation
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on roofs
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Dependability and attention to detail

What We Offer

• Full-time position with paid training
• Competitive pay (based on experience)
• Paid time off
• Tools and uniforms provided
• $2,000 signing bonus for CT-licensed inspectors
• Room to grow with an expanding company
