This is a commissioned base positions. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Customer Service/Sales Representative to join our team. Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and providing product information.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Utilize strong phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks to ensure accurate transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
