Job Opportunity
Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
- Evening shift and one Saturday per month required
- Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
Contract Duration
- 26-week contract
- Restricted time off in the months of February and March
Work Environment
- Setting: Clinic and Hospital
- Daily Caseload: Approximately 33 PET/CT scans
- Majority of cases focused on oncology diagnoses
- Two PET/CT scanners used for imaging
Patient Care
- Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics (Adolescents preferred)
- Special Procedures: PET/CT including Whole-body FDG, Brain, Cardiac, and Neuroendocrine Imaging
Essential Requirements
- Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine
- Ability to start and maintain intravenous (IV) lines
- Familiarity with PACS
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT or NMTCB, State license in Ohio
- Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings

- Myocardial imaging techniques
- Adenosine infusion
- Exercise/Rest protocols
- Persantine Infusion
- Pharmacological Stress Testing
- Cerebral Blood Flow studies
