Shift Information

This position requires full-time availability Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a holiday rotation and on-call responsibilities. On-call requirements include one weeknight (Sunday to Thursday) and one weekend (Friday or Saturday) every tenth weekend. Weekend requirements are scheduled as necessary.

The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role includes working with both Siemens and GE MRI equipment and involves treating a diverse range of patients, including those in the emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Technologists may be required to float across multiple locations within the region.

• Patient Types: Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient


• Procedures: Includes power injection contrast injections


• Uniform: Scrubs in Charcoal Gray

• 24 months of MRI experience is required.


• Strong proficiency in Siemens and GE MRI equipment is necessary.


• ARMRIT certification or ARRT (R)(MR) certification is required.


• Experience in a Level II trauma setting is required; Level I trauma experience is preferred.


• Must have recent hospital experience.


• Travel experience is a plus.


• Experience with EPIC or EPIC Radiant is highly preferred.

• Work history must include 24 months of current MRI experience.


• A detailed skills checklist specific to MRI is required.


• Documentation of ARRT or equivalent certification is required.


• A professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or similar role within the last 24 months is preferred.


• Driver’s license documentation is required.

Contractors are expected to work 1-2 of the three major Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed. Flexibility to float and work at different locations within the designated area is also required.
