EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL GLASS INSTALLER WANTED
Modern Glass Design is seeking a skilled glass installer with hands-on experience in commercial interior glass applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience installing heavy glass partition systems (3/8" and 1/2" tempered/laminated)
- Proficiency with floor and ceiling channels, base shoes, and U-channel systems
- Installation of glass door rails, headers, and sidelite framing
- Working knowledge of concealed overhead closers (Dorma, ASSA ABLOY, CRL) including floor spring and transom-mounted units
- Experience with patch fitting hardware (pivots, locks, strikes, top and bottom fittings)
- Ability to read shop drawings and field-verify measurements
- Comfortable working with heavy glass panels in occupied commercial spaces
Preferred:
- Familiarity with C.R. Laurence and Dorma hardware systems
- Experience with frameless glass applications including guardrails and shower enclosures
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
