Job Description

We’re looking for a Full Stack Data Scientist to join our AI Engineering team, driving the future of AI-powered developer experience (DevEx internal AI) at Modern Football. In this role, you’ll harness the power of generative AI and data science to design, build, and optimize intelligent systems that elevate the way Coaches work - from ideation to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage generative AI models and data-driven insights to create innovative developer tools within Modern Football’s ecosystem.
• Lead end-to-end AI research and development: data preparation, experimentation, production deployment, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and optimize LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent architectures.
• Partner with software engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
• Design and conduct experiments to measure and improve model performance and overall system impact.
• Collaborate on defining AI/ML best practices, tooling standards, and long-term data strategies for the Developer Experience (DX) group
  
  

Requirements

• 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist in non-academic settings, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, or other deep learning fields.
• Proven track record of conceiving, designing, and shipping successful agentic-driven projects to production.
• Hands-on experience with modern generative AI models, prompt engineering, multi-agent systems, and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency in Python is required; knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Analytical and experimental mindset with a focus on measurable impact and real-world outcomes
