Your Role: Commercial Sales Representative

As a Commercial Sales Rep, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining, long-term relationships with business in WI and IL. This position involves proactively reaching out and visiting business owners, property managers, facility managers and maintenance teams to introduce and educate them on our range of services, including inspections, seasonal maintenance, repairs re-roofs and additional offerings. Through consistent outreach, building trust, and follow-up you will become the go to contact for customers, ensuring their needs and opportunities are identified and met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting - Through various means of networking, industry events, cold calling and warm leads received identify new and continuing opportunities for services we provide
  • Inspections and Evaluations - Using different technologies along with your physical eye, inspect / evaluate the overall condition or issue on the roof and articulate to the client
  • Cost-Benefit and Needs Analysis - Preform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Proposal Negotiation - While price can be a hurdle at times, you will have the ability to negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close the sale while ensuring profitability if still being met for the company
  • Customer Issues - Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Sales Goals - Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments within in the company
  • Territory/Market Potential - Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports to manager on weekly / monthly basis
  • Weekly / Monthly Reporting - Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services on weekly / monthly basis
  • Data Entry - Accurately enter all notes gathered from calls and appointments on prospecting and client information using company CRM and other databases
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

What We’re Looking For:

  • Outside Sales B2B Sales experience is preferred (not required)
  • Experience with roofing products preferred (not required)
  • Driven and self motivated to achieve goals
  • Strong communicator who is confident, clear, and personable with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Shows up prepared, respectful, and aligned with our mission to serve clients honestly
  • Adaptable to the challenge of a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Ability to climb a ladder with a backpack
