Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to lead field crews and oversee residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical abilities across multiple trades—including tile work, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and both rough and finish carpentry. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Management
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, and in line with project requirements.
- Conduct daily site meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
Skilled Trade Work
- Perform and oversee rough and finish carpentry, including framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, and structural work.
- Install tile including floors, walls, waterproofing, and custom layouts.
- Complete plumbing tasks such as rough-ins, fixture installation, and minor repairs.
- Perform basic to intermediate electrical work including wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting.
- Assist with and supervise HVAC installations, ductwork, and system maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Quality Control & Safety
- Inspect work in progress for accuracy, quality, and compliance with plans.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites.
Crew Development & Communication
- Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to improve skill sets and productivity.
- Assign tasks based on skill level and project priorities.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and inspectors to resolve issues quickly.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
