Based in Bedford, Texas, our team takes pride in long-standing client relationships and a hands-on, collaborative culture.
We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help lead project direction and completion while managing relationships with owners and subcontractors on assigned projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers on meaningful projects across our region, with a clear path toward greater project ownership as you grow with the company. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, leadership, and communication skills, along with a genuine commitment to safety and quality.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Bedford office, with regular travel to active jobsites across the DFW metroplex.
Project Oversight
- Assist with preconstruction efforts, including preparing trade contracts, bid packages, and overseeing procurement
- Monitor overall project performance — status, schedule, and change management
- Attend and lead project meetings, including progress and pre-construction meetings
Client & Subcontractor Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and consultants
- Resolve conflicts with subcontractors professionally and proactively
Quality & Safety
- Conduct quality control inspections and review inspection/test data for compliance with specifications
- Champion a strong safety culture through your own actions and by mentoring others on the team
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in commercial construction
- Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office
- Comfort with scheduling software to maintain weekly construction schedules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with solid math/accounting fundamentals
- A team-oriented mindset, sound judgment, and excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
