Job Summary

Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Painter, where your expertise will transform vehicles into works of art! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles to meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. Your skills in surface preparation, spray painting, and auto body refinishing will ensure each vehicle leaves our shop looking pristine and showroom-ready. Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision.
• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, welding, and auto restoration to restore vehicles to their original condition.
• Use power tools such as grinders and sanders to smooth surfaces and achieve flawless finishes.
• Conduct detailing and buffing to enhance the vehicle’s appearance after painting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols including respiratory protection are followed during painting processes.
• Assist with auto glass replacement and minor mechanical tasks as needed to support overall vehicle maintenance.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair and auto painting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Expertise in automotive surface preparation, masking techniques, sanding, and buffing for high-quality finishes.
• Skilled in the use of conventional spraying systems, airless paint sprayers, and automotive buffing equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive paints, coatings, primers, and finishing products.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during auto restoration projects.
• Excellent customer service skills with a keen eye for detail; experience in auto estimating is a plus.
