What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/ Grounds Attendant position at Modern America Campgrounds?
We are looking for a full-time seasonal Housekeeping & Grounds Team Member to join our team through November 1st. This is a great opportunity for someone local or a work camper looking to spend the season in a beautiful campground setting.
Position Responsibilities:
- Cleaning bathhouses (showers, toilets, sinks, countertops)
- Maintaining laundry facilities
- Mopping, sanitizing, and restocking supplies
- Keeping all public areas clean and guest-ready
- Grounds work including cleaning campsites, picking up trash, and scooping fire pits
- Assisting with basic pool maintenance, including testing pool chemicals
- Using tools such as weed wackers, rakes, and brooms
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be detail-oriented and take pride in cleanliness
- Weekend availability is required
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Prior experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or similar roles preferred
- Positive, hospitality-focused attitude when interacting with guests
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay physically active
