What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector (Cold Warehouse) 2nd shift position at Model Dairy LLC?
Essential Functions:
- Approach work with a Continuous Improvement mindset, and engage in Model Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
- Own and promote a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
- Unload trailers of empty pallets and cases using pallet jack, move cases to washer for cleaning.
- Load pallets into trucks using pallet jack; ability to follow written load tickets for accurate shipments.
- Stage product for shipping; ability to follow written load tickets for accurate loads.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Must be a trustworthy self-starter who can work independently on highly detailed tasks and deliver accurate, timely results.
- Ability to learn quickly and continuously.
- Must be able to stand/walk for full shift, lift 50 lbs., pull/push up to 300 pounds and work safely around industrial machinery.
- Must be able to work in cold (refrigerated) environment.
- Must be available to work any shift including weekends.
