Role
As a Sales Associate (Design Consultant), you’ll lead a consultative, design-minded sales process—from discovery to delivery—building lasting client relationships and meeting (then beating) sales goals in a fast-paced showroom.
Compensation
- Up to $100,769 per year, performance-based
- Full-time, in person
What You’ll Do
- Own the client experience: greet, discover needs, propose solutions, close, and follow through to delivery
- Curate rooms and whole-home solutions; guide clients on layout, scale, finishes, and care
- Drive results: maintain a healthy pipeline, hit KPIs, and consistently close
- Build a book of business through clienteling, referrals, community outreach, and the design trade
- Keep the showroom impeccable and on-brand; execute floor moves and product launches
- Stay current on new collections, lead times, promotions, and financing options
What You Bring
- 2 years of consultative sales in luxury retail, furniture, design, or related field
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and delighting clients
- Design sensibility (comfortable with measurements, scale, and space planning)
- Tech-savvy: POS/CRM proficiency; strong written and verbal communication
- Entrepreneurial energy, high integrity, weekend/holiday availability
Nice to Have
- Experience working with designers/trade accounts
- Basic floor-planning or design software exposure
- Spanish or second language other than English
