Position Overview
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining caregiver schedules, ensuring clients receive consistent and timely care. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily schedules for caregivers
- Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, and client needs
- Communicate schedule updates, changes, and confirmations to caregivers and clients
- Respond promptly to call-outs and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling software
- Build positive relationships with clients and caregivers
- Assist with general office tasks as needed
- Take on Call phone calls on weekends
Qualifications
- Previous scheduling or administrative experience preferred (home care experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
- Proficient with computers and scheduling software (training provided)
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
