Location: MODAEXPRESS, 16 Bleecker Street, Millburn, NJ 07041 Employment Type: Full-Time | First Shift (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, M–F) - OT and some Saturday and/or Sunday required

We’re seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant Manager to oversee inventory movement, order fulfillment, and team performance. This is the perfect role for someone passionate about logistics, inventory control, and leadership.
As part of our management team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations, maintaining safety and compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will:
Inbound Operations
- Review daily inbound ASNs and schedule manpower to meet client SLAs.
- Lead daily meetings with the receiving team, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Manage returns: ensure accurate inventory, quality inspections, and timely reintegration.
- Track KPIs and report performance to management.
Outbound Operations
- Review outbound workload and allocate manpower accordingly.
- Organize daily meetings with shipping teams (pickers, packers, etc.).
- Oversee order allocation, pick-ticket distribution, and shipment fulfillment.
- Monitor KPIs and communicate performance updates to management.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure operations comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Train new associates on safety/security procedures.
- Safeguard staff and client assets by monitoring activities and implementing corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Apply Lean and 5-S principles to optimize warehouse efficiency.
- Assist in developing client-specific SOPs and monitor compliance.
- Analyze productivity, recommend improvements, and implement process enhancements.
- Engage associates in identifying and executing process improvement initiatives.
Client Support
- Communicate with internal customer service to support communication with client.
- Propose solutions, organize action plans, and report results to management.
- Provide daily workload and project status updates.
- Ensure SLA compliance and productivity targets are consistently met.
Requirements
- Ability to lift/move items up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent walking (facility length: 600 ft.), bending, stretching, and reaching.
- Comfortable working in variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs safely.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or weekends as needed.
- Forklift driver experience.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a must
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $27.00 – $30.00
- Bonus: Performance-based, at company discretion.
