Construction Field Coordinator

Role Summary

The Construction Coordinator supports on‑site activities for a large, pre‑manufactured building project. The role focuses on material tracking, documentation, logistics support, and schedule‑aligned communication. This position works directly under the Field Project Manager and alongside the General Contractor and Construction Superintendent to ensure materials, information, and field readiness stay aligned with project requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Material Tracking & Organization — Track and organize all non‑civil materials, including major building sections and roofing components. Maintain accurate logs of quantities, locations, handling requirements, and readiness.
• Procore Reporting — Build reports, update logs, upload documentation, and maintain accurate project records within Procore.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination — Collect complete shipping details before materials leave the supplier and ensure accurate delivery information is communicated to the field team.
• Field Documentation — Capture daily logs, photos, drawing markups, and spec updates to support quality and continuous improvement.
• Site Navigation & Safety — Move safely on an active jobsite and coordinate with the GC/Superintendent on access, staging, and sequencing.
• Schedule‑Aligned Status Communication — Communicate material readiness and site status in alignment with the project schedule.
• Process Tracking — Track workflows, identify bottlenecks, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Work Direction Support — Assist the Field PM in directing work activities without assuming supervisory or contractual risk.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years experience as a construction coordinator or similar field‑based role
• OSHA‑10 or OSHA‑30 (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Ability to safely navigate an active construction site
• Ability to communicate site status according to the project schedule
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read construction drawings (basics)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modular, prefabricated, or off‑site construction
• Experience working with GCs, superintendents, or field PMs
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred but not required)

Compensation

• Salary Range: Up to $75,000, aligned with the approved pay band for this role
