Mover/Packer

Job Overview
THIS IS NOT A WAREHOUSE JOB. We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers/Packers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the packing, loading, and unloading of items for residential and commercial moves. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a smooth moving experience for our clients. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AT LEAST 50LBs

Responsibilities

• Safely pack and prepare items for transport, ensuring they are secure and protected.
• Load and unload items from trucks, utilizing proper techniques to prevent damage.
• Drive box trucks or other vehicles to transport items to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. (Training will be provided if you've never driven one.)
• Be able to drive and maneuver a trailer forwards and backwards. (Training will be provided regardless of experience.)
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any questions or concerns. Try to be talkative or make conversation if client likes to talk.
• Have basic knowledge of tools incase disassembly or assembly is required.
• MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Previous moving experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Commercial driving experience is a plus; familiarity with driving box trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
• Experience in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of route driving and delivery processes is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Salary : $20 - $22
