Who we are
Mochinut provides mochi donuts, Korean rice dogs, boba drinks, and soft-serve ice cream. Mochi donuts are a unique hybrid of traditional American doughnuts and Japanese mochi. Featuring specialty flavors on a rotational schedule, we look to serve delicious and aesthetic donuts that are a perfect treat at any time of the day and for any situation!
We’re looking for an amazing team with the ability to cross-train between front-of-house customer service and back-of-house prep and cook in a fast-food environment with a limited menu.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Kitchen duties: Operation of the kitchen and drink equipment and prepare specialty drinks, corn dogs, mochi donuts, and other menu items.
- Greeting and interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking and packaging customer's orders and preparing food and drinks
- Accurately process all transactions
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment, including but not limited to doing dishes, sweeping/mopping the floors, wiping down the countertops at regular intervals, keeping the restroom clean and taking out the trash.
Requirements:
- Available to work in any shift (morning or evening) and on weekends
- Positive, outgoing, and being courteous is a must
- Current WA Food Handler's card is required
- Fast food or retail experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Have a flexible schedule. Must be available to work weekends and holidays, if needed
- Friendly, responsible, honest, helpful, dependable, detail-oriented & fast learners with a sense of urgency
- Must have reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and strive for growth within the company
- Being social media savvy is a plus

NOTE: We are not able to hire persons in high school currently. Long-term employees preferred. And we are looking for people open to work any shift and over the weekends too.
