Mochi Tea Cafe, Inc has been featured in the Stuart Magazine as its favorite boba tea shop in Port Saint Lucie, FL. We serve authentic, premium boba tea, specialty drinks, hand-made wonton noodle soup, Japanese onigiri, Korean Bingsu (snow/shaved ice), Asiain ice cream, cakes, and desserts.

We are looking for an outgoing, socialable, high energy, and friendly individual with great work ethics to join our service team. You must enjoy talking with customers in a fast pace and fun working environment.

REQUIRED:

• WEEKENDS (FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY) & FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE ARE REQUIRED
• MINIMUM 18 YEARS OLD
• HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR GED EQUIVALENT
• SOCIALABLE, OUTGOING, AND ENJOY TALKING WITH CUSTOMERS
• HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO WORK
• Food preparation: Ability to follow recipes and prepare food items according to established guidelines
• Retail math: Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
• Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and address customer needs
• Work ethics: Hard working, on-time and willing to learn in a fast pace work environment. Take initiative in doing tasks independently.

PREFERRED:

• Work Experience: 1 year or more food industry experience
• Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain food safety standards
• Food Handler Certificate a PLUS
• Food safety: Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Food industry: Familiarity with the food industry, including knowledge of different types of beverages and food items
• Cash register: Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system for processing transactions
• Cash handling: Experience in accurately handling cash transactions and providing correct change
• POS: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order processing and payment handling

**DUTIES:

• Greet customers with friendly smiles and ready to serve
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including tea, coffee, specialty drinks, ice cream, and food.
• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and kitchen areas
• Daily cleaning of the facility and stocking inventories
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in food preparation and storage
• Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure efficient operations
