Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and observing patients’ behavior and emotional state.
- Assist in crisis intervention strategies to manage acute care situations effectively.
- Implement behavior management techniques as directed by the treatment plan.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient observations and interactions.
- Support patients with disabilities by facilitating their participation in therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Engage in patient education regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
Requirements
- Experience or training in psychiatry or behavioral health settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient monitoring techniques.

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong observational skills for effective patient monitoring and behavior management.
- Background in nursing or corrections facility medical clinic experience is advantageous.
