What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Leader position at Moca Logistics?
MAIN GOAL
The Inventory Leader is responsible for receiving, inspecting and maintaining accountability of items delivered to the site throughout the project, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with the client's deliverable requirements for inventory, ultimately contributing to the success of the project.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze and define the work methodology (with the PM) to use during the project.

Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.

Organize, update, and control the Inventory when requested by the client (Kitting and Sorting)

Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.

Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories, keeping a record of the data.

Monitor delivery schedules and customer orders to ensure all inventory is properly received. This includes conducting on-site walkthroughs and investigating any missing items.

Receive deliveries on-site and coordinate the designated unloading area. Ensure all items are fully unloaded from the trucks.

Communicate and file claims when defective products are discovered and/or quantity discrepancies happen with the Project Manager or directly to the client.

Coordinate with customer service and logistics departments

Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed.

Develop and train your work team, ensuring quality, assertiveness, and standardization of processes.

Establish trusted relationships with suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effective deals

Coordinate the "close out" of the project in the Inventory area.

Contribute to the effectiveness of the Management System and comply with all procedures and policies established for the quality management system.

Ensure the delivery of the necessary reports for the delivery - receipt of the required items at the work site to ensure the expected result.

Ensure a safe workplace that complies with OSHA, MOCA and Client's protocols and standards.
