Summary : Drive delivery truck to fulfill sales orders and assist Account Managers maintain and grow sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but no limited to:Drives truck to deliver such items as automotive products and supplies toauto dealerships and independent garages. Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record. Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business. Prepares order forms and sales contracts. Informs regular customers of new products or services. Places stock on shelves or racks. Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues salespromotion materials to customers. Issues or obtains customer signature and records purchase order numbers onreceipt for pickup or delivery. Communicates all completedsales invoices to the corporate office on a daily basis. Performs daily inspections of delivery vehicle and ensures all maintenance and safety requirements are met. Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceValid Driver’s License with Clean Report 2 years’ experience driving large delivery truck Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a great customer service demeanor Good math skillsAbility to sit for extended periods and regularly lift or move up to 30-50 lbs.Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record. Valid drivers license for a minimum of 3 years.
