Summer nursing interns at Mobridge Regional Hospital have the amazing opportunity to rotate shifts and departments including Medical Surgical, OB, ICU, and ER. Interns move along side their qualified preceptor.
Scholarships are available and our interns are encouraged to apply.
Mobridge Regional Hospital also offers scholarships specifically for individuals planning to return to our facility as an RN.

Mobridge Regional Hospital also offers scholarships specifically for individuals planning to return to our facility as an RN.
- Internship is an eight (8) week time frame, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week. Interns have the opportunity to pick up additional hours as an aide if 40 hours is preferred.
- Internship orientation begins in the first week of June
- Preceptor experience begins the second week of June and runs for 8 weeks.
- Each intern is assigned a mentor. Interns schedule will mirror their mentor’s schedule.
- Interns change mentors half way through the internship to expand on their types of experiences gained.
- MRH strives to give interns as many nursing experiences as possible by working different shifts in varied departments.
- Enrolled in a BSN program
- Successfully completed the program requirements with no more than two semesters remaining.
- Maintain a positive standing with the school.
- Must have a 2.8 GPA or higher
