Summary
The PE Supplier Development Manager will be responsible for developing new parts of electric vehicles PE System (Motor, Reducer, Inverter, ICCU) Assembly. This role will assist the Senior PE Supplier Development Manager for supporting the strategic souring, engineering interfaces, cost reduction opportunities, and overall supplier management and managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the quality of the supplies meet the company standards.
As the PE Supplier Development Manager role, the incumbent will be assisting the Senior PE Development Manager in the development of new parts of the electric vehicle PE system, this role will support the project management with suppliers, assist with supplier mold and equipment development, quality improvement, and manage parts quality issues. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing supplier capacity and ensuring timely delivery of parts.

About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC
MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. To supply BSA and PE systems for three major hubs of HMG Group in North America: 1) Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), 2) Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA), and 3) KIA Auto-land Georgia (KaGA), MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC operates the BSA1 plant in Montgomery County, Alabama, and the BSA2 plant and PE system plant in Bryan County, Georgia are operated. MOBIS North America Electrified powertrain LLC was established on October 7, 2022. Using the cooperative effort of our Team Members, MOBIS North America electrified powertrain LLC can provide parts for over 1,300 vehicles a day.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Project Management
•Responsible for part development and implementations.
•Conducts detailed project plans, tactical execution, schedules in each part project.
•Provides Management overview and reporting on critical project tasks.
•Maintains strong relationship with suppliers, internal and external customers.
•Communicates regularly with upper management including HQ regarding the status of current projects, obtains upper management guidance and approval as required.
Supplier Management
•Leads suppliers to meet the quality requirement during project and program.
•Respond to supply shortages for supplier-related issues.
•Conducts Value engineering for any possible cost savings.
•Suggests ECR for cost reduction, quality improvement, and lean production.
•Is responsible for supplier's ISIR review and approval, supplier quality audit.
•Collects and summarizes documents from suppliers and support HQ, Sales and Customer request.
•Other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
•Experience: 10 years
•Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
•Degree Field: Engineering Degree
•Equivalent Experience / Education: 7 years of experience in development role within E-powertrain manufacturing/automotive industry
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Skills & Abilities: Requires understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency in drawing interpretation.
•Strong analytical and technical skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
•Experience in automotive manufacturing environment
•Experience in Die-casting, Lamination press, Forging, PCB assembly process.
•Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools
•Experience in using ERP system, Quality management system.

•Frequent travel with possible overnight or extended stays
